Solvent anthraquinone dyes :

The solvent dyes in anthraquinone series constitute a small group of dyes devoid of solubilising groups such as sulphonic acid and carboxylic acid and the structures involved in these type of dyes are quite similar to those in the disperse anthraquinone dyes. Example of these dyes is Sudan Blue obtained by the condensation of leucoquinizarine with one mole of methylamine and one mole of p-toluidine.
