Acid anthraquinone dyes:

A large number of commercfial acid anthraquinone dyes for wool are available. They are bright and light fast and especially important since blue and green shades obtainable in anthraquinone series are not possible to obtain as simple structures in acid azo dyes. Themain intermediates  for acid anthraquinone dyes are Bromamine acid (418), 2,4—dibromo—1—aminoanthraquinone (419), quinizarin (108) and other anthraquinone derivatives whihc are condensed with arylamines and the products are sulphonated to get acid anthraquinone dyes. Two typical examples of this type of dyes are Alizarin sky Blue B (634) and Alizarin cyanine Green G (635) derived from 2,4—dibromo—1—amino anthraquinone (419) and quinizarin (108) respectively.
