Premetalized (1:1 Metal Complex) Dyes on Wool :
Good dyes with these dyes must be rinsed well to free them from strong acid, preferably adding to the last rinse water either some ammonia or 5% of sodium acetate. These premetalized dyes are especially advantageous for carbonized wool. Such wool still containing carbonizing acid is entered directly into the dyebath previously set only with dye and Palatine Fast Salt C Cone. Powder, Palatine Fast Salt O Solution or Nacconol NR. The carbonizing acid already in the wool is very effective in promoting level dyeing.
