The general rules of Actual Dyeing Process:-

by : ---

In actual dyeing process three general rules should be followed :

Rule 1:-
Adjust the dyeing conditions to those which would produce the maximum posible exhaustion if no chemical reaction took place. This will give the most efficient utilization of dye and minimum hydorlysed products.

Rule 2:-
Adjust the dyeing conditions and dying time so that the chemical reaction of the dye will be just completed at the end of dyeing process.

Rule 3:-
Adjust the rate of dyeing process according to the material being dyed and the machinery used so that a level result is obtained.
Fixanol after treatment, and Ethylene diamine after treatment have been suggested to improve light, and wash fastness.
